July 2, 1936 - December 7, 2022 Hilde Hall 86 passed away peacefully at home. Hilde, nee Kolatzny, was born in Munich Germany in 1936. She survived the hardships of WW II and emigrated to the USA in the late 1950s. She married Scott Hall in 1966 and the couple settled in Los Angles where they ran a successful retail business. On their retirement the Halls settled in Palm Springs. Scott and Hilde enjoyed all the social life in Palm Springs and were active members of The American Legion, The VFW, and The Elks Lodge. Scott and Hilde were avid travelers touring the U.S., Asia, Africa, and Europe and on many occasions visits to Germany to see family and friends. Hilde was predeceased by Scott who died in 2003. Hilde was a noted hostess and party giver and was especially known for her "Easter Bonnet" parties and her Christmas and New Year's celebrations. Hilde is survived by her cousin KarlHeinz of Germany and nieces and nephews; Sandra, Arno, Erika, and Karl. Hilde's remains, as she wished, will be cremated. A celebration of her life will be scheduled in January 2023 at her Los Cocos HOA clubhouse.
